I do not claim to be an expert chef. I haven't had any special training. I am just a wife, mother, and friend who has been cooking for a long time. I started baking with my mom and sisters when I was little. My girls and I use the same Sesame Street Sugar Cookie Recipe I have always used. My first Thanksgiving as a wife I made a Pumpkin Pie using a church cookbook I got as a wedding gift, that had a typo. That "lowfat" pie crust recipe had zero fat/butter in it. It couldn't even be cut with a knife. Our 'pumpkin custard' that we ate instead, was delicious though! I now have a tried and true recipe that melts in your mouth. I spent a year assisting a friend who was a caterer, and picked up tips, tricks, and recipes. Every recipe I post has been tested in my kitchen, and I've done my best to eliminate any typos!
